Ginsenoside Rg1
CAS: 22427-39-0
CAT: 9695
Abstract
Ginsenoside Rg1 draws significant scientific interest for its potent neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. As a major bioactive dammarane-type triterpenoid saponin found in Panax ginseng, it has become a focal point in research on cognitive health and age-related neurological conditions.
For instance, ginsenoside Rg1 helps protect neurons by reducing oxidative stress, inhibiting excessive neuroinflammation, and modulating key signaling pathways such as PKA/CREB and Nrf2. Studies show it ameliorates amyloid-β pathology, decreases tau hyperphosphorylation, promotes synaptic plasticity, and supports neurite outgrowth.(1) These actions make it particularly promising for research on Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, and age-related memory decline.
In addition, ginsenoside Rg1 exhibits adaptogenic benefits by regulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, balancing stress responses, and enhancing overall cellular resilience. Compared to some other ginsenosides, it often demonstrates a favorable safety profile with multi-target activity.
Rg1 remains stable under recommended storage conditions. It integrates easily into various analytical and formulation systems. We provide full documentation, including COA, MSDS, and HPLC chromatograms, with every order.
