Ganoderic Acid DM – CAS 173-075-45-1

Abstract

Ganoderma lucidum (reishi mushroom) has been traditionally used for increasing energy, improving immunity, and promoting health and longevity. Polysaccharides and triterpenoids are its two main types of compounds and considered to be responsible for its pharmacological activities. Ganoderic acids are the major components of the Ganoderma triterpenes. There are many of these acid monomers, including Ganoderic acid A, C2, D, F, G, H, S and DM.

Ganoderic acid DM (CAS 173075-45-1) is a potential therapeutic candidate for treating a number of diseases. This compound is capable of inducing cell death in cancer cells, while exhibiting minimal toxicity to normal cells. Furthermore, its ability to stimulate an immune response in the tumor environment may provide long-term protection from malignant tumors.
