Abstract
Azadirachtin A + Azadirachtin B (1:1) is a defined equimolar mixture of two naturally occurring metabolites isolated from Azadirachta indica. The tree is commonly referred to as the neem tree or simply neem. It serves as a rich source for triterpenoids (limonoids). Limonoids are of profound interest to humans due to their diverse biological properties, including potent insecticidal activity as well as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and other pharmacological effects. Azadirachtin A and Azadirachtin B are the two principal azadirachtin compounds found in neem extracts and together constitute the vast majority of the insecticidal limonoids present.
