Rinskor – CAS 1390661-72-9

Abstract

Rinskor (CAS 1390661-72-9), whose common name is florpyrauxifen-benzyl, is a Corteva Agriscience synthetic auxin herbicide that preferentially binds to the auxin receptor AFB5 versus TIR1. It provides excellent control of broad-spectrum weeds (broadleaf weeds, grass weeds, dandellions, and sedges) in rice and aquatic environments. It is used at very low use rates compared to other commonly used herbicides which helps to minimize the impact on the environment. Rinskor rapidly degrades to non-herbicidal residues and has a favorable safety profile.
